Legal
This policy explains what personal data Chef's Corner collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It applies to this website and to table reservations made through it.
Reservation data. When you book a table, you provide your name, phone number, email address, party size, date and time, and any notes you add, such as allergies or a seating preference. Reservations are processed through our booking provider, DinnerBooking.
Correspondence. If you write to us by email, we receive your address and the contents of your message.
Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics tools receive your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location at city level, referring page and the pages you view.
Advertising data. If you consent to advertising cookies, Meta and Google receive identifiers that allow them to recognise your browser and to measure and target advertising. See section 04.
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use three groups.
Necessary cookies keep the site working, remember your language and your cookie choice. These do not require consent.
Analytics cookies are used by Google Analytics 4 to produce aggregated statistics about visits, pages viewed and traffic sources.
Advertising cookies and pixels are used for our marketing campaigns. Specifically:
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you consent. You can give, refuse or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings on this site. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of personalised advertising in your Google and Meta account settings.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the restaurant and the website, and each of them acts under a contract with us:
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@chefscorner.lv. We reply within one month.
If you believe your data is handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia, Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv.
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown below.
